She is survived by: her children, Lisa LaRae Cross and Michael Darnell Cross; her grandchildren, Dwayne Wilson Lodge II (Shanaya M. Bowser), Taylor LaRae Lodge, Jaylen Bradley, JaMiere Cross, Jenaya Cross, Jayani Cross and Jakai Cross; her great grandchildren, Naci Michael Lodge and Shanaila Knox (Frank W. Cross); her brothers, Lonnie Lee Clifton Jr. (Cladie Clifton) and James Douglas Clifton (Broadway); her niece Alisha R. Hammery (Teko Hammary); her nephews, Larry D. Cliton Jr., Lonnie Clifton III and Tyler Clifton; and her aunts, Lene and Mary (Bugs).

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Light Missionary Baptist Church (1105 Willow Rd, Greensboro, NC 27401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
