He was predeceased by: his father Lonnie Artemas Spinks, Sr.; his son Derek Hart; his brother-in-law Robert Sparrow; his mother-in-law Nancy Long Wiley; and his siblings-in-law, Bill Haith and Michelle Long.
He is survived by: his wife Celeste Long Spinks; his children, Crystal Spinks, Lonnie Artemas Spinks, III and Roderick L. Long; his sisters, Ann Thomas, Linda Sparrow and Phyllis Brooks; his niece Alicia Sparrow; his nephews, Harold Anderson, Bryant Anderson, Maurie Brooks, Chris Gould and Gregory Brooks; his grandchildren, Raven Mcclees and Kristofer Long; his great grandchild Makenna Gaddy; and his siblings-in-law, Rhonda Haith, Laverne Long, Jack Long, Tony Long (Beverly) and Darrell Long.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217).
