She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Frankie Forrest; her children, Lisa Shelton, David Shelton (Mary Beth) and Greg Shelton (Beth); and her brother Wayne Purcell. She was also cherished by her nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Rocky Knoll Baptist Church or to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro.
