She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis Fox and Myrtle Prince; her son Gordon Jr.; and her grandson Rodney.

Viewing was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hargett Funeral Service, Inc. (905 E Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (2700 W Vandalia Rd, Greensboro, NC 27407). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
