He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Mauney Starling; his children, Sheri Starling Readling (Randy) of Greensboro and Robert Hardee Starling (Kristen) of New York City; his sister Goldis Reel of Colfax; his sister-in-law Martha Mauney of Harrisburg; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Sproles (Natalia), Elizabeth Guarnizo (Brayan), Morgan Starling and Riley Starling. He is also survived by six nieces and nephews.
