She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Bennett Ramsey (Tom) of Greensboro, NC; and her parents, Edward Lee Fortune and Lucile Henderson Fortune of Charlotte, NC.. She is survived by: her children, Katherine Ramsey Hawkins (Jay Hawkins) of Charlottesville, VA and Thomas Bennett Ramsey, Jr. (Stella Ramsey) of Greenville, SC; and her grandchildren, Caroline Bennett, James Crawford V, Luke Thomas, John Edward Hawkins, Stella Peace, Elsie Grace and Bennett Rose Ramsey.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Westminster Presbyterian Church (3906 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410).
