He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hornaday and Fannie Hornaday; and his siblings, Margaret Teeter, Ernest, Jack, Arthur, Herman and Jimmy Bean.
He is survived by: his son Allen Hornaday; his daughter-in-law Bonnie of Coleridge; his granddaughters, Krystal Garner (Jason) of Harpers Crossroads, Heather Wells (Jamie) of Siler City and Ally Hornaday Bowman (Jessy) of Siler City; his great grandchildren, Gracie Willard, Grayson West and Alaina Garner; and his niece Cathie Faulkner. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church (3228 Hines Chapel Rd, Greensboro, NC 27405).
