With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Carnelly Newton (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on April 12, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her boyfriend Lyman Newton; and her parents, James Carnelly and Margaret Carnelly. She is survived by: her sisters, Marjorie (Manahan) and Marianne (Spiegel); her children, Kristen (Sullivan) and Lauren (Peters); her grandchildren, Louden, Parker and Campbell Peters; and her pet Misty.
In lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to the First Lutheran Church Emergency Assistance Fund, which serves local individuals and families in need.
