She was predeceased by: her parents, Jule Long and Ruby Mae Cole Long; her husband Clifton Eugene Lemons; and her sisters, Marlene Cheek and Billie Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Scott Lemons, Mark Lemons and Dean Cheek; her grandsons, Connor Lemons (Ashley), Curtis Lemons and Ryan Cheek; her great grandchildren, Calel and Willow Lemons; her friend June Hayes; and her brother-in-law James "Chip" Lemons.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (617 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (3901 Forest Lawn Dr, Greensboro, NC 27455).
