We bid farewell to Joanne Gurley of Greensboro, North Carolina, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bascom Kirkman and Myrtle Fields Kirkman; her husband Ken Gurley, Jr.; and her siblings, Marie, Bud, Edith, Faye and Lita.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael Gurley and Mark Gurley (Casey); and her grandchildren, Jacob and Olivia Gurley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Methodist Church (6103 Appomattox Rd, Climax, NC 27233). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at the same location.
