It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jefferson Hoover Harelson (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Harelson and Mary Harelson of Laurinburg, NC.; and his siblings, Robert Harelson, James Harelson, Lera Harelson Ellis and Helen Harelson.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barger Harelson; his children, Jeffrey Carlton Harelson (Electra) and Jodi Leigh Harelson; his grandsons, Thomas Richard Harelson (Kendall), Brian Jeffrey Ruhaak (Adrienne), Daniel Jeffrey Harelson (Sarah) and Bradley John Ruhaak (Megan); and his great grandchildren, Audrey Anne Harelson, James Hoover Harelson, Beckham William Ruhaak, Thomas Parker Harelson, Walker Jeffrey Ruhaak and Virginia Calvert Harelson.
A celebration of life was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Lutheran Church (3600 W Friendly Ave, Greensboro, NC 27410). A reception was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
