We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2025, at the age of 99, Hilda Welch Shelton of Greensboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Hilda leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank L. Welch and Pearl Welch; her husband James Shelton; her siblings, Lucille Wrenn, Alice Long and Frank Welch; and her son-in-law Phillip Dunn.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Dunn; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Dunn (Aaron Brunk) and Benjamin Dunn (Erica).
