She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucile H. Bishop and T. DuPree Bishop of Bennettsville, SC.; her former husband Wyndham Dukes; and her husband Darwin Hawley. She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bobby" DuPree Dukes of Liberty and Deborah D. Clark (Nick) of Kernersville; her grandchildren, Kasidy Clark, Michelle Alverson (Michael) and Robert Wyndham Dukes (Stephanie); her great grandchildren, Nora Dukes and Hayden Alverson; and her stepgrandchildren, Corben Zelt, Lilyan Arndell, Joseph Clark and Cheri Hanlon (Chuck).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
