She was predeceased by: her parents, Sarah Edwards and James Riley Barger; her husbands, Michael Hamby and Thomas Wade Harris; her son Jerry Lynn Harris; and her daughters-in-law, Wanda Hunt Harris and Lynda Jadick Harris.
She is survived by: her son Timothy Wade Harris (Erin); her granddaughters, Lindsay Harris Scheuer (Nick), Laurie Harris Furr (Pat), Natalie Harris Crawford (Billy), Ellen Barger Harris and Laura Wade Harris; and her great grandchildren, Emery, Hayes Scheuer, Owen, Tessa and Ivy Furr.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church (2600 Pisgah Church Rd, Greensboro, NC 27455). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Westminster Gardens Cemetery (3601 Whitehurst Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pisgah Church, 2600 Pisgah Church Rd. Greensboro, NC 27455.
