He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert G. Thompson, Sr. and Ruth Barnes Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughter Stephanie Vannoy (Aaron); his grandson Max Vannoy of Greensboro, NC; his sister-in-law Gail B. Thompson; and his nephews, Bert Thompson (Marsha) of Chesapeake, VA and Brett Thompson (Tiffany) of Virginia Beach, VA.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Christ United Methodist Church (410 N Holden Rd, Greensboro, NC 27403).
