He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fields and Margaret Richardson Fields; and his siblings, Dewey Richardson and Jackie Brewer. He is survived by: his wife Susan McKinney Richardson; his sons, Bryan Richardson (Heather) of Greensboro and Jeremy Richardson (Hallie) of Greensboro; his siblings, Kenny Fields (Rita) of Greensboro, Randy Fields (Tammy) of Greensboro, Daniel Richardson of Pleasant Garden, Sandra Fields of Myrtle Beach, SC, Sue Draper of Greensboro and Debra Fields of Greensboro; and his grandchildren, Charity, Kaitlyn, Carson, Corey, Zoey and Aiden.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home (515 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Lineberry Center at Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel (515 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401).
