Garland Gene Coffer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Garland Gene Coffer of Greensboro, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 94. He was predeceased by: his wife Rachael "Toby" A. Coffer; his son Ronald L. Coffer, Sr.; his parents, Joseph Coffer and Susie Coffer; and his siblings, Phyllis Coffer-Parker, Frances Coffer-Jordan and Allen Coffer.
He is survived by: his sons, Roger G. Coffer, Sr. and Kenneth R. Cofer; his brothers, Bobby, Floyd and Richard Coffer; his grandchildren, Stacy M. Coffer, Ronald L. Coffer, Jr., Roger G. Coffer, Jr., Kelly R. Coffer, Kenneth R. Coffer, Jr., Chloe A. Cofer and R. J. Coffer; his daughter-in-law Amanda Cofer; and his great grandchild Garland Lee. He is also survived by other great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Forbis & Dick Funeral Service - North Elm Chapel (1118 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401).
