She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, Jessie James Lewis and Annie Cleo Lewis; her siblings, Ruth, Bernard, Bernice, Yvonne, Raymond, Mary, Sylvia, Francis and Lucille; her daughter Robin; her grandson Alex; her children, Barbara Vernon, Roger Davis (Connie) and Janet Davis; her grandchildren, Mark Vernon, II (Kelsey), Micah Vernon (Shea), Suzanne Muller, Phillip Davis, Sharai Davis, Christopher Johnson (Julia) and Christina Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Myles Vernon, Faye O'Brian, Grayson O'Brian, Lillie Muller, Emmie Muller, Thomas Muller, Olivia Johnson and Ryan Johnson.

Visitation was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Eaton Funeral Chapel (325 N Main St, Mocksville, NC 27028). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Parklawn Memorial Gardens (2730 Peters Creek Pkwy, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27127, United States).
