She is survived by: her daughter Karen Anne House; and her goddaughter Anne Eileen Haley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hanes-Lineberry N. Elm Chapel (515 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401). A prayer will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (2210 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27408). A burial will be held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations in Elaine's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
