“Oh, how we loved sweet Ed. He and my husband became friends at the Nat Greene Submarine Base meetings and he was always welcoming and had such a smile on his face! And how he loved his beloved Pat and all of his family...always talked about them. A personal highlight for me was when I looked up from registering veterans for the Triad Honor Flight and there was Ed with that big smile! He was so excited to be on that trip with other heroes, and it was such a privilege to honor him with that.”
