With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Thomas (Greensboro, North Carolina), who passed away on October 7, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Edna Elizabeth Hooker Denson; her husband Richard Thomas Jr.; her sister Frances Elizabeth Hairston; and her grandson Paul Spencer Jones III. She is survived by: her children, Willie E. Thomas (Darlene), Doris T. (George) of Maryland, Frances T. Rogers (Pastor Michael B.), Dr. Richard S. Thomas Sr. (Patricia) and Patricia T. Jones; and her niece Geraldine Brown. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.

Mama continued attending weekly Sunday services and Bible Studies on social media despite the pandemic.
