With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothea Elizabeth Salerno (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Kannapolis, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 10, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Wardlaw and Elizabeth Wardlaw; and her sister Suzanne Irrizary. She is survived by: her husband Tommy J. Salerno; her daughter Julia Stockton Boyles (Tim); her stepdaughters, Julie Salerno and Jaye Salerno Wyse; her grandchildren, Brennan Fowler, Reade Salerno, Caleb Tucker, Matilda Boyles and Keller Boyles; and her nephew Ryan Irrizary.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in her honor to Beacon Place in Greensboro, North Carolina.
