It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Eugene Masters of Greensboro, North Carolina, who passed away on November 24, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Moses Masters and Nola Joyce Greer Masters; his siblings, Madge Schooner, Mary Jane Archer (Glen Archer), Alma Kallam (Obie Kallam) and Ken Masters; and his sister-in-law Martha Weber (late Warren Weber).

He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Groome Masters; his children, Eric Masters (Vicki Kimberlin Masters), Mary Joyce Masters Marks and Gretchen Masters Baugh (Bibb Baugh); his grandchildren, Erika Masters (Jason Lynam), Ben Masters (Emily Walter Masters), Stephen Marks, Matthew Marks, Trevor Baugh (Katy Jones Baugh) and Genna Baugh Hardgrove (Brad Hardgrove); his siblings, Clara Peterson (Gene Peterson), Issadore Masters (late Cecile Masters), Grace Breese (late Art Breese) and Bill Masters (Joyce Masters); and his brother-in-law Ken Groome (Pat Groome). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
