It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Lester Blackmon (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Many, Louisiana, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Lester Blackmon and Florence Clorine Ammons LaRue. He is survived by: his wife Alita Blackmon of Greensboro, NC; his daughters, Louine Blackmon of Greensboro, NC and Elizabeth; his son-in-law Kevin Smith of Greensboro, NC; his brother Larry; his sister-in-law Stephanie Blackmon of Monroe, LA; and his grandchildren, Elijah Smith of Tokyo and Josie Smith of Greensboro, NC..

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Cornerstone Baptist Church (5736 Inman Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
