He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Bruce and Lillian Jacobs Bruce; his granddaughter Elizabeth Bruce; and his brothers, Donald, Robert, Jimmy and Gene Bruce.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Gaither Bruce; his children, William Keith Bruce (Edwina), Darrell Bruce and Linda Patti (Chris); his grandchildren, Alexandra Bruce, Charlotte Bruce, Alyson Franks (Ryan), Aubrey Patti, Emelie Patti, Madison Bruce (Nicola), Ethan Patti and Evan Patti; his great grandchildren, Felicity Bruce, Hailee Alexander, Lila, Rowan Franks and Declan Franks; his daughter-in-law Judy Bruce; his brother Johnny Bruce (Ann); and his sister-in-law Sue Bruce.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (205 S Main St, Salisbury, NC 28146).
