We are sad to announce that on February 8, 2025, at the age of 89, Corine Perry (Greensboro, North Carolina), born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Corine Perry to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorus Bess and Mattie Bess; her husband Harry Perry; her daughters, Anita Perry Bennett and Patricia Hargraves; and her siblings, Doris Hutchers, Phillip Bess and Kenneth Bess.
She is survived by: her sons, Lawrence Perry, Mark Perry (Ida), Otis Perry, Clifton Perry and Marvin Hargrove; her granddaughter Laquisha "Squeezie" Bennett; her siblings, Mattie Jordan, Lorrita Byers, Martin Bess and Charles Bess; and her godchildren, Richard Jackson, James Young, Michelle Best and Sheene Beasley. She is also survived by 31 grandchildren; 54 great-grandchildren; 22 great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the New Jerusalem Cathedral (1822 Sharpe Rd, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
