He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Warner Stamey and Linda Bridges Stamey; and his siblings, Sara Stamey Hodgin and William Keith Stamey. He is survived by: his wife Patsy Craver Stamey; his children, Beverly Brown (Barry), Elizabeth Allen (Brian) and Chip Stamey (Liza); and his grandchildren, Brad, Lauren (Tom), Joshua (Mary), Lindsey (Kevin), Charlie, Chaz (Annie), Craver (Hannah), Eliza Jane and Ellie.
