He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Bolden and Florence Bell Harris; and his grandparents, James and Mary Sue Dillard Bell. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Hinnant; his cousins, Gennie, Lloyd, Charlie, Willard "Billy" Bell and Alfred "Boots" Bell; his daughter Jennifer Bell Brown (John); and his grandson Jonathan Bell Brown. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Hargett Funeral Service, Inc. (905 E Market St, Greensboro, NC 27401). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Stephen United Church of Christ (1000 Gorrell St, Greensboro, NC 27406).
