She was predeceased by: her parents, Adam Johnson and Viola Johnson; her husband John L. Fitzgerald; and her sisters, Marie and Bertie Mae.
She is survived by: her children, Siggie and Larry Fitzgerald; her siblings, Betty Rankin and Adam Johnson Jr.; her daughters-in-law, Cynthia McAdoo and Angela Fitzgerald; her grandchildren, Javon Fitzgerald, Jarred Fitzgerald and Lauren Fitzgerald; her granddaughter-in-law Coetina Edwards; and her great grandchild Jordan Fitzgerald. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Reid Memorial Cme Church (1010 Bennett St, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
