She was predeceased by: her parents, Ed Glidewell and Audrey Glidewell. She is survived by: her husband Benny; her children, Rita Young (Rick), Cara Cromer and Lane Abernathy; and her brother Terry Glidewell.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Westminster Gardens Cemetery (3601 Whitehurst Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honor of Carmen to Authorcare Collective (Hospice of Greensboro), 2500 Summit Ave., Greensboro, NC 27405.
