She is survived by: her son Edgar Lamar "Eddie" Self II (Sherri Becton Self); and her grandson Stewart Christopher Self (Katherine Sara "Katie").
A graveside service was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Gaston Memorial Park (1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054).
