She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Blair and Duskie Laughlin Blair; and her son Richard Parker Yawn. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth M. Yawn Sr.; her sons, Robert (Gail) of Idaho, Kenneth (Theresa) of Summerfield, Sammy (Sherry) of Greensboro and William (Sharon) of Greensboro; and her brother Robert Eoae Blair (Frances) of Lenoir. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
