He was predeceased by: his wife Queen H. Bell. He is survived by: his children, Dr. Calvin Arthur Bell (Karen), Bernard Edgar Bell (Stacy) and Dr. Benita P. Bell; his siblings, Mary Sue Graves, Dr. Jacey Bell and William Bell (Omega); and his grandson Dr. Winston A. Bell. He is also survived by 34 loving nieces and nephews; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Providence Baptist Church (1106 Tuscaloosa St, Greensboro, NC 27406). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In the place of flowers the family request donations be made to the Dr. Arthur P. Bell Scholarship Fund Department of Agriculture at NC A&T State University Greensboro North Carolina .
