Anthony Groverman Blake Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anthony Groverman Blake of Greensboro, North Carolina, born in Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on January 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Hibbs Blake. He is survived by: his daughters, Ginny Blake (Jackie MacCallum) of Belmont, MA and Eliza Blake (Udai Kogalur) of Winston-Salem, NC; his goddaughter Virginia Treacy Burke; his sister Mary Bicknell; his grandchildren, Jessie, Alysia, Hope, Aril and Aster; and his great grandchildren, Jorden, Kayelynn and Kaiden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home (515 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401).
