He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Prince Ferrell. He is survived by: his children, Sara Stanley (Chris) of Apex, Phillip Ferrell (Frances S.) of Apex, John Ferrell (Candice E.) of Apex and William Ferrell (Amy G.) of Holly Springs; his grandchildren, Sergeant Todd Ferrell, Katie Brewer (Isaac) of Greensboro, Nolan Ferrell and Spencer Ferrell; and his great grandchildren, Blake and Kennedy Ferrell.
