He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hattie Clough and Frank Long; his wife Phyllis Chambers McBroom of Burlington; his children, Terrence Richmond and Toni Richmond of Burlington; his grandchildren, Orande, Tyree, Riley, Josiah, Samuel and Hannah; his siblings, Gregory McBroom (Belinda) of Raleigh, Danny McBroom (Sheena) of Ft. Walton, Peter McBroom of Georgia, Keith McBroom of Burlington, Cedric McBroom (Angela) of Greensboro, Wanda McBroom of Burlington, Mary Ector of Burlington and Gwendolyn Evans; his stepchildren, Derrick Chambers and Leslie King; and his stepfather Peter Clough. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
