He is survived by: his son Russell Leon Evans; his siblings, Annie Anderson of Mebane, NC, Tessie Anderson of Mt. Pleasant, NC and Wayne Morris Russell (Wanda) of Burlington, NC; and his grandchildren, Russell Leon Evans, Jr., Tameka Harvey, Jamel Coble, Tervon Pinnix, Travis Packingham, Brooks Packingham and Conitra Dillard. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
