Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carl Edmond leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon McBroom; his parents, William C. McBroom and Nacala Turner Mitchell; his daughter Susan J Rogers; his siblings, Phyllis Stephenson (Alfred) of Pennsylvania, Kernell Mitchell-Thaw of California and Colonel Mitchell (Norma) of California; and his cousins, Gregory and Danny K McBroom. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blackwell Funeral Home (1292 Rauhut St, Burlington, NC 27217). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green Level Christian Church (2614 Green Level Church Rd, Burlington, NC 27217).
