He is survived by: his children, Kim Draper and Neal Sykes (Stephanie); his daughter-in-law Mari Sykes; and his brothers, Tommy Sykes (Linda), Roy Sykes (Joy) and David Sykes (Tess). He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
