He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Worth Houck, Sr. and Nellie Brinegar Houck; and his sister Linda Jean Houck Caudill. He is survived by: his sons, Robbie John Houck of Wilkesboro and Joseph Ray Houck of Hays; his granddaughter Caylee Raye Houck of Wilkesboro; and his siblings, Gary Houck of Sparta, Michael Houck of Grassy Creek, Shirl Bourne of Sparta and Sandy Campbell (Steve) of Lenoir. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
