She was predeceased by: her parents, Alonza "Ben" Vaughan and Hester Mangum Vaughan; and her siblings, Raymond Vaughan, Floyd Vaughan and Rowena Frazier.
She is survived by: her husband James H Currin, Jr.; her daughters, Susan Hiscocks (Tony) and Julie Overton (Larry); her grandchildren, Tyler Overton, Sarah Hiscocks and Taylor Hiscocks; her brother Alvah Lee Vaughan (Vivian); and her sister-in-law Virginia Vaughan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and other extended family.
The family request that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Grassy Creek Baptist Church Parking Lot Fund, 9142 Grassy Creek Rd., Bullock, NC 27507.
