He was predeceased by: his wife Geneva Hash DeBord. He is survived by: his daughters, Anissa Day (Steven) of Grassy Creek and Catina DeBord (Thomas Kilby) of North Wilkesboro; his siblings, Hattie Jo Greene of Grassy Creek, Corrine Testerman of Grassy Creek and Roger DeBord (Janice) of Grassy Creek; his grandchildren, Beverly Day, Allison Bowers (Michael) and Tabitha Day (Daniel Dowell); and his great grandchildren, Stella Dowell and Orrin Lee Bowers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
