Iona Rutherford Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2020, at the age of 92, Iona Rutherford of Grassy Creek, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Curtis Handy and Carrie Belle Phipps Handy; her husband William Harding Rutherford; and her grandson Timothy Rutherford. She is survived by: her son William Fred Rutherford (Wanda) of Grassy Creek. She is also survived by three grandchildren, five great-grandsons, two great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Grassy Creek Baptist Church.
