He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Elmer and Anna Tharin Elmer; and his daughter Anna Elmer. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Matthews Elmer; his sons, Jason Elmer of Brooklyn, NY and Luke Elmer of Brooklyn, NY; and his sister Francis Cheetah Currier of Punta Gorda, FL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
