She was predeceased by: her parents, Crowder Garmen and Lila Minnie Loveless Davis; her husband Elmer Dean Coffey; her son Nathan A. Coffey; and her siblings, Dorothy Grigg, Eunice McKinney, Sylvia Grigg, Rachel Costner, Franklin, Hershel, Glenn and Norman Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Lavena Dodd Moe (Arthur) of Grassy Creek, Kevin Dean Coffey of Boone and Michael Kenneth Coffey of Gainesville; her grandchildren, Derrick Cook (Ashley) of Cherryville, Dustin Cook (Jana) of Newton, Alena Dodd of Grassy Creek, Carla Coffey (Sean Wilson) of Statesville, Casey Trivette (Corey) of Union Grove, Jasmine Coffey Whitaker of Surprise and Logan Coffey of Surprise; her great grandchildren, Ki Gregg, Jada Gregg, Alexis Cook, Gavin Cook, Hayley Cook, McKenna Cook, Skylar Trivette, Kinley Trivette and Skyla Whitaker; and her sister Mozell Davis Justice.
