She is survived by: her daughter Jean Marie (Colonel Howard Borst); her granddaughter Lauren Marie Borst; her friend Laura Ascencio; her sisters, Merle Matthews and Carolyn Hobgood (Major General Mack); and her brother-in-law Julian Winston (Nancy).
