He was predeceased by: his wife Willa Deane; his son Timmy Miller; and his siblings, Bobby Miller, Avery Miller, Arnold Miller and Arlene Stansberry.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Greene (Harold) of Fleetwood and Dennis Miller (Becky) of Grassy Creek; and his siblings, Austin Miller of Lansing, Guy Miller of Crumpler, Tom Miller of Jefferson, James Miller Jr. of Dover, DE, Edith Johnson of Grassy Creek and Betty Kerr of Ohio. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
