He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Powell and Thelma Powell; and his former wife Marie Green Powell. He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee Buck Powell; his children, David Powell (Kathy) and Dillan Bryan (Kenny Asby); his grandchildren, Jacob Powell (Desinee) and Hunter Bryan (Cass); his great grandchildren, Dawson Powell and Kayden Bryan; his stepchildren, James Franklin Green (Doris), Lonnie Green (Joanne), Jeff Green (Kelly), Sarah G. Hardison (Charles D.), Ronnie Lee (Ruthie), Wanda Hollowell and Joseph Lee (Francine); and the mother of his children Linda Anderson. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
