We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2021, at the age of 50, Velma Jean Lee of Grantsboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas Lee and Bettie Lee. She is survived by: her husband Albert E. "Buddy" Martin, Jr.; her sons, Dougie Sodoma (Carley) and John Sodoma; her sisters, Anita Pipkin and Sissy Lee (Alvie); and her grandchildren, Kaylee, Bella and Emma Jean.

In lieu of flowers the family suggested memorial contributions be made to the Colonial Capital Humane Society of New Bern, PO Box 326, New Bern, NC 28563.
