She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Kemp and Jean Soria Kemp; her husband Robert S. Whitford; and her brother Clayton Kemp, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Ann Snapp and James M. Snapp, Jr.; her siblings, Barrett Kemp and Deborah Park; and her grandson James M. Snapp, III.
